Full service, quick service and allied member of the year winners are acknowledged for their dedication and outstanding contributions to the enhancement of the restaurant and foodservice industry’s image, supporting the success of a restaurant and their communities in 2008.
The Washington Restaurant Association, in its 80th year, is the leading business association for the restaurant industry — the largest private employer in the state with an average workforce of 201,000 in 2008. In Washington, the more than 12,500 restaurants annually generate $11.9 billion to the state economy and contribute $635 million in state taxes.
