The WRA is member driven and the success of the organization relies heavily on the volunteer time and leadership provided by members. To honor our members’ contributions we recognize through our awards program Toasting the Finest. There are five awards, the Devere Jerry Burtenshaw Award Lifetime Achievement Award; the Allied Hall of Fame; Full Service Member of the Year; Quick Service Member of the Year and Allied Member of the Year.

Devere Jerry Burtenshaw Lifetime Achievement Award & Allied Hall of Fame
The Devere Jerry Burtenshaw Lifetime Achievement Award and the Allied Hall of Fame are the two highest distinctions bestowed by the WRA. They are presented to individuals who have made significant career achievements and are esteemed for their distinguished service to their industry, community and charitable organizations.

Full service, quick service and allied member of the year winners are acknowledged for their dedication and outstanding contributions to the enhancement of the restaurant and food service industry’s image, supporting the success of a restaurant and their communities.
